Flair heads are the ideal addition for exhaust air with large vapour loads. The exhaust air is blown out of the vent head vertically and spreads out more advantageously into the surroundings. Condensate and rain are collected in the Flair head and are discharged directly onto the roof. The Flair head for roof terminals is optionally available up to a connection pipe of DN 200.

The purpose of additional thermal insulation is to significantly reduce condensate formation in the exhaust air pipe, i.e. underneath the vent cap (or Fair head). It is optionally available for roof terminals up to a size of DN 400. Please note that it is not possible to select both thermal insulation and a condensate separator integrated in the vent pipe. This combination does not make sense, as the thermal insulation already ensures that less condensate is produced. However, on request, an additional below roof KWA can be incorporated in combination with thermal insulation (up to DN 200). This is then mounted under the inadequately insulated roof and the condensate can be discharged onto the water-carrying level via a hose.

The integrated condensate separate (KWA) collects the condensate formed on the inside of the connection pipe and passes it onto the roof through a hole. Condensate is then prevented from flowing back into the ventilation system. As an alternative to a KWA, the roof terminal with pipe diameters up to DN 400 can also be delivered thermally insulated. IMPORTANT: A combination of thermal insulation and an integrated KWA is unfortunately no possible or rather is not meaningful, as the thermal insulation already ensures that significantly less condensation is formed.

A below roof KWA can be installed under the roof up to a pipe diameter of DN 200 at any time – including as a retrofit. It has a drain hose, which discharges the condensation directly onto the roof. A below roof KWA is a useful addition, especially for ventilation systems in which increased condensate formation is possible. In this case, the combination with a roof terminal with thermal insulation is possible.

In the winter, a backflow flap at the outer discharge point of a ventilation pipe prevents cold air from flowing in and the uncontrolled escape of warm air. In addition to this energy saving effect, FLECK backflow flaps also offer other advantages: Among other things, they make it difficult for insects and rodents to penetrate inside. They also help to prevent condensate that can form from the moist warm air that is discharged. The flaps open even with low air flows, so that connected fans do not have to run at the highest level.

The round underlay sealing collar is the universal solution for reliably sealing penetrations through underlays. It prevents discharged dripping water below the roof tiles in the area of a penetration from penetrating the roof structure and thus prevents moisture damage. This solution for vent pipes size DN 150 offers two important advantages: The self-adhesive collar is made of water-repellent fabric with low resistant to vapour diffusion, from which the usual underlays are also made. Moisture is therefore safely guided through the membrane to the outside. On the other hand, rainwater cannot penetrate. The round shape of the collar facilitates crease-free bonding on the underlay, thereby preventing leaks through which water could find a way to penetrate.
