What if a leaf screen were to raise itself automatically if it were blocked and the leaves suddenly dragged away by the backed-up water?

If leaves and dirt clog the gravel or leaf trap of a flat roof drain or gully and cause the rainwater to back-up, considerable damage can occur. Roofs, which are particularly susceptible to leaf and dirt accumulations, should therefore be maintained regularly, since no drain or gulley reports dangerous backwater in the event of heavy rainfall events.

The innovative solution: the ROOFGUARD with FLECK connect. The ROOFGUARD- leaf screen lifts itself automatically, as soon as the flat roof drain or gully is blocked and the water reaches a backed-up level of 60 mm. The backed-up water shoots beneath it and into the drain. The resulting undertow drags leaves, hail, etc. along with it. The leaf screen then lowers itself and FLECK connect* sends an email. The owner, roofer or facility manager can then arrange an inspection or maintenance.
