The Saniflex universal vent is a solution that is efficient as it is space-saving.
Its small installation size reduces the roofer’s work in the planning phase as it is not necessary to provide any gaps for the vent heads between the modules. This also means that more modules can be used on a pitched roof. At the same time, the continuous laying leads to optimised string planning, which in turn increases the output of the solar system. In addition, the installation work is made easier and so more time remains for other work. A good side effect of the continuous planning lies in the more attractive roof design – an aspect that is particularly convincing for property owners.
The universal vent for roofs with photovoltaic arrays
The Saniflex universal vent DN 100 is a proven particularly low designed universal vent solution for installation under PV arrays on pitched roofs. The product ensures optimum function and many other improvements, not only for the installation but also for operation of the system. The universal collar made of rolled lead substitute enables rainproof connections at any standard roof tile.
Optimum air flow with only 70 mm overall height
The rainproof designed ventilation cross-section of the Saniflex universal vent DN 100 corresponds to that of a DN 100 connection pipe. The low overall height of the Saniflex universal vent of only 70 mm allows it to be installed under the solar elements without hindering their back ventilation. Recesses in individual modules are therefore not necessary and no gaps are created in the solar field.
Anyone who worries that, for example, leaves can collect at the vent or a bird could even nest in it, can now opt for the FLECK PV-VogelStop bird deterrent. PV-VogelStop is a bird deterrent for solar modules that prevents the damage caused to the PV array or solar thermal system due to burning birds’ nests, for example. It is simply attached to the edge of the solar modules with clips.
