With the underlay sealing collar, pitched roof vents can be reliably closed off in the second water-bearing level with only a few hand movements. In addition, the collar prevents dripping water from penetrating under the roof tiles in the roof structure in the area of a penetration and thus prevents moisture damage.
Feed the flexible universal hose through the underlay sealing collar and fix it on the vent tile.
Insert the flexible universal hose with vent tile through the hole cut out in the underlay.
Remove the protective film attached to the back of the underlay sealing collar and bond with the underlay.
Re-insert the vent tile and the adjacent roof tiles. Ready.

With the underlay sealing collar, different factors ensure that water cannot penetrate the roof structure at a penetration: The self-adhesive collar is made of water-repellent fabric with low resistance to water vapour diffusion, from which the usual underlays are also made. Moisture is safely guided through the membrane to the outside. On the other hand, rainwater cannot penetrate. The round shape of the collar facilitates crease-free bonding on the underlay.
In addition, the underlay sealing collar can also be used to seal around penetrations in an airtight outer envelope.
